You know, when you're really in the moment (say, on the beach watching a sunset, spending time with a friend you may never see again, having really awesome sex, filming the final shot in a fight scene you've worked on over the past three weeks) you try to take it all in as much as possible- to savor it and remember every meaningful effect. But it's always over before you know it and suddenly it's all gone and far away. Which is sad, but that's just how it goes, so you just have to file it under 'good times' and take the experience as part of living your life to the fullest. There's only so much you can do to appreciate something while it's happening.
God, it's especially like that during sex. All that build up, the extravaganza itself, then I'm back home masturbating to the memory. FUUUCK.
You just can't take a view like this for granted. Especially coming from Los Angeles.
