I very highly scrutinize my pictures because I find myself very very odd to look at. This one is my "Hi there. Buy my album." shot, and it's the best of the bunch we took. I almost look halfway upscale, if you squint and pretend I have a blazer and a full head of hair.
This one is my "I've locked myself out with no shoes on, act casual".
These b&w's were taken by my friend Frankie Lapensee and are my first headshots. This is another "Buy my album" shot.
My skull is the STRANGEST SHAPE. It's kind of pointed and angular.
This picture struck me significantly because I look like my dad.
This is the closest thing I have to a genuine smile in a headshot. Whenever I try to hold a smile for a picture, I end up looking undeniably smutty or creepy. A shot like this, with a slight twinge of insanity and lopsidedness in the face, that's more natural.
